"Little Red Pear was created after the birth of my daughter in 2006. I had trouble finding quality, unique and interesting plush toys so I pulled my sewing machine out of hiding and started designing and creating toys from my home studio. The business has grown considerably, selling online and through retail outlets across several countries, but the toys are still handcrafted from home. I am always searching for new materials to provide variation and uniqueness to the designs, ensuring that each toy is a special little creation."
"I get excited by vintage fabric finds, and enjoy mixing them with modern designs. Every toy has it's own name, personality and story, and no two are ever alike. I get enormous satisfaction when a toy is turned the right way out and their personality is revealed."
"There has been wonderful support for my handcrafted toys through friends, family and people throughout the world. My customers appreciate the time and effort involved and love that the toys are individually crafted just for them. I've had a lot of people say that they relate to the character or know of someone just like it, so just have to have it. And we love all of them; they really do feel like real people and members of our family!"
